IBIS OIS is more than just a funding program; it is also a matchmaking hub that is dedicated to building and supporting collaboration between industry and academia within the biofertilizer area. Cross-disciplinary partnerships help to ensure that the funded research is directly relevant to the industry’s needs and challenges. Therefore, all projects funded by IBIS OIS must be based on partnerships between partners from industry and academia.
Ideation and Matchmaking activities will lead up to each call round to support interested parties in developing sound project ideas and finding relevant project partners. The IBIS OIS secretariat will facilitate on-site and online ideation and matchmaking events, which will all be announced on the website and WorldLabs.
The on-site ideation and matchmaking events will include:
- Scientific presentations,
- Introduction to current call round incl themes and guidelines,
- Pitch rounds, where project ideas are presented and discussed openly,
- Community discussion of future call themes.
